I had a lot of fun creating this piece for a VR video game in Unreal Engine 4. The game has been accepted to SIGGRAPH Asia 2018 and I hope many can experience it for themselves.
Low poly count sits at about 40k. Textured in Substance Painter.
The monster is a guardian deity that protects an ancient, frozen temple.
